Frozen meets Airica .....She happened to see him in the stall and went in to say hi.....He was very attentive to her.....I wondered if he thought. " so many people walked by and didnt even look my way and FINALLY, someone noticed me! FINALLY!!
She was with him about an hour. Touching him and softly talking to him. She appeared worried. She had tears in her eyes. Frozen stayed close to her. I think he was worried too.
She says goodbye as he is ready to be sold. With tears running down her face she whispers....I'll be back and gives him a kiss goodbye.. As we are leaving the stall She turns to me with tears in her eyes and says.... " mom I gotta have him . I have $80 of my birthday money. Mom, he needs us".. .She goes out to watch the sale. Sitting quietly with her head down. Tears welled up in her eyes. Frozen comes into the ring.....it's his turn to be sold.....
Mom surprises Airica and hands her the bidding card and tells her to start bidding. She is shocked and excited. Airica holds the bidding card high until the end. She was a nervous wreck....She won the bid and just bought herself a donkey! He cost a whole lot more than $80 but she doesn't need to know that.
After the sale we paid for Frozen and went to get him. He was standing calmly in the stall. Airica got to his stall and he lifted his head and let out a big hee haw and started pacing in the stall like he wanted out. Airica kept her promise. She came back. He seemed excited. We left the sale with him and headed home..
